Pricing

One flat fee. Never a percentage of your collections.

The percentage model charges you more in the months you do best. Beacon charges the same whether you collect $60,000 or $90,000, so a busy month belongs entirely to you.

The fee is per practice, banded by the number of dentists, and it never moves with what you collect. A second dentist adds to the fee rather than doubling it. Both standard bands are on this page, and a larger practice is priced in your order form, in writing, before you commit.

Full insurance cycle

One dentist $1,995/ month
Two dentists $2,995/ month

One-time set-up fee, before work starts $750

Non-refundable once onboarding begins.

We confirm your number on the first call and put it in writing before anything starts.

  • Denials worked and appeals filed
  • Prior-authorization support
  • Insurance accounts receivable chased until resolved
  • Monthly scorecard, with the guarantee measured on it

Not included

Beacon works the insurance side only. Patient billing stays with your practice, and your patients never deal with us.

Verification only

One dentist $595/ month
Two dentists $895/ month

One-time set-up fee $250

Non-refundable once onboarding begins.

This takes the single most time-consuming piece off your front desk. The floors that cover verification work, and the credit ladder, apply to this plan exactly as they do to the full service. If it goes well you can add the rest of the cycle later, on the same flat basis.

Three or more dentists

A larger practice, a specialty practice or a group is priced in your order form on the same per-practice basis. We have not published a number for those because we will not invent one before we have worked yours out. You get it in writing before you commit to anything.

What the set-up fee covers

Onboarding: logins, payer enrollments, fee schedules and the baseline of where your insurance accounts receivable stands on day one. It is charged once, before work starts, and it is the only charge outside the monthly fee.

The comparison worth doing

What a percentage actually costs you.

Percentage billers charge a share of everything they collect for you. Put in the percentage you have been quoted and see what it costs over a year.

1995 for one dentist, 2995 for two.

Twelve months - -
Difference over a year -

This compares fee structures using your own figures. It is arithmetic, not a claim about what Beacon would collect for you.

Straight answers

The things people ask about price.

Why publish a price at all when nobody else does?
Because the first thing you want to know is whether this is a $500 service or a $5,000 one, and making you sit through a call to find out wastes your afternoon. The number on this page is real. We confirm it in writing before anything starts.
Does the price change if I add a dentist?
Yes. A second dentist moves you from the one-dentist band to the two-dentist band, which is $1,995 to $2,995 on the full insurance cycle. It adds $1,000 rather than charging a second full fee, and the number is published above rather than quoted to you privately. Nothing else about the fee moves: not a hygienist, not a second chair, not a busy quarter. A dentist means any licensed dentist, owner or associate, full time or part time, who treats patients at your practice that month.
Does the fee go up if I have a good year?
No. That is the entire point of a flat fee. We may adjust recurring fees at the start of a renewal term with at least thirty days’ notice, which is in the agreement, but the fee never moves with your collections.
What is not included?
Patient billing of any kind. That means patient statements, chasing what a patient owes, payment plans, taking patient payments and referring a patient balance to a collection agency. We work the insurance side, so the accounts receivable we chase is the money owed by payers, not by your patients. All government-program claims are also outside what we do: Medicaid, Medicare, CHIP, TRICARE, any other state or federal program and any managed-care plan administering one. Prior-authorization support is part of the full insurance cycle and is included in the fee. Anything outside the services listed in your order form is agreed in writing before that work begins, rather than added to an invoice.
How do I pay, and when?
Monthly in advance by ACH, invoiced with fifteen days to pay. Any service credit you have earned is applied to the next invoice automatically.
Am I locked in?
Month to month, thirty days’ notice, no exit fee. There is nothing to migrate back, because your records stayed in your system and we keep no patient database of our own.
