The guarantee
Promised. Performed. Or Paid Back.
Five numbers are written into your agreement. If we miss one, the credit against your fee is automatic. You never have to ask for it, and you never have to argue about it.
Most billing companies promise performance on a web page. We put it in Schedule C of the contract you sign, define every number so it can be computed from the data rather than debated, and have it measured by a function separate from the team doing the work.
| What we guarantee | How it is measured | Floor |
|---|---|---|
| Verification on time | Share of in-scope visits verified at least two business days before the visit. A visit is in scope if we could see it in your schedule feed at least three business days before the appointment. | 95% |
| Clean claims accepted first time | Share of Beacon-prepared claims accepted by the payer on first submission. | 90% |
| Denials dealt with in five business days | Share of denials given a logged disposition within five business days after we receive the payer’s explanation of benefits or electronic remittance advice for that denial. | 90% |
| Eligibility accuracy | Share accurate and complete on a QA audit of a random sample of at least twenty verifications a month: correct plan, correct coverage, correct patient cost. | 95% |
| We answer you | Share of your requests acknowledged within one business day, measured across a rolling three calendar months. | 95% |
These are the credit-backed metrics in Schedule C of the Beacon client agreement. The wording on this page is a plain-English summary. The agreement governs.
The remedy
What a miss actually costs us.
The size of the credit depends on how badly we missed and on how many floors we missed. It is applied to your next invoice automatically.
| What happened that month | Credit |
|---|---|
| One floor missed, by two points or less | 25% of that month’s fee |
| One floor missed, by more than two and up to five points | 50% of that month’s fee |
| One floor missed by more than five points, or two or more floors missed | 100% of that month’s fee |
On a $1,995 solo practice, a bad month can cost Beacon the entire fee. That is the point of it.
5.3 Performance is measured independently by Beacon against the definitions in Schedule C by a function separate from the team that delivers the Services, and the results are made available to the Client on a regular cadence.
A credit due under Schedule C is applied automatically; the Client is not required to request it.

In the contractThe honest part
What we deliberately do not guarantee.
A guarantee is only worth reading if it tells you where it stops. Three things sit outside ours, and we would rather you knew now than found out in month four.
Before any of them: the floors measure insurance work. Patient statements, patient balance follow-up, payment plans and patient collections are outside Beacon’s scope altogether, so no floor is stated for them.
Payer decisions
We do not control what an insurer approves, what it pays, or how long it takes. Prior-authorization approval rates, insurance collections, days in accounts receivable and net collection percentage are measured and reported every month, and never guaranteed. No billing company can honestly guarantee them, so we do not.
The first 60 days
For your first sixty days of live service every number is measured, scored and published exactly as it will be afterwards, and the scorecard states any credit that would have been due. Credits become payable from the first full month after that. We would rather calibrate against your practice honestly than promise on day one and argue in week three.
Very small months
A metric only triggers a credit if at least twenty qualifying items fall into its measurement period. For four of the floors that period is the month. For team responsiveness it is the rolling three calendar months the metric is scored over. In a month with fifteen denials, one late item would drag a percentage below its floor and trigger a payout that misrepresents the work. The metric is still measured and still published. It simply does not pay out.
And the ordinary exclusions
A month is not counted as a miss to the extent we were prevented from performing by a payer or clearinghouse outage outside our control, by force majeure, or by the practice not meeting its own obligations under the agreement, the main one being keeping the appointment schedule current so we can see visits far enough ahead to verify them. A metric is also not scored for any period in which we have suspended the services for non-payment. Service credits are capped at one month’s fee in any month. We apply them against future fees, and if any credit is still unused when the agreement ends, we pay you the balance.
What you actually receive
One page, every month, whether the news is good or bad.
Every floor in Schedule C is measured and published. You do not have to request it, you do not have to chase it, and you do not have to work out whether a credit is due. The month below is an illustration rather than a client, and it deliberately shows a month we lost.

Why we do this
We are new. This is what we offer instead of a client list.
Beacon was formed in 2026 and is building its first book of practices now. We cannot show you ten years of logos, and we will not show you testimonials we do not have.
What we can do is accept a consequence. Every month we publish the same numbers we are graded on, and when we fall short the money comes off your invoice without you lifting a finger. A remedy you can enforce is worth more than a reference you cannot check.
